If alcohol is a problem to you and if the Twenty Questions have convinced you that you are an alcoholic, perhaps you will say, “Yes, but I can quit by myself any time.” More power to you if you can—and do. All of us who are now members of Alcoholics Anonymous said that once, or a million times. “I can take it, or leave it alone.” So we took it.
